« A tornado of ininhibited imagination blew into the Joyce Theater (New York) (…) Marie Chouinard has brought back her marvellous menagerie of mythic beasts and orgiastic rites in a 20-year retrospective of her solos. » - Anna Kisselgoff, The New York Times, 2000
« The remarkable solos of Montreal choreographer Marie Chouinard are like obsessions dredged out of some combination of private experience and the collective conscious... Chouinard builds powerful art from the tension between transgressiveness and artful structures. » - Deborah Jowitt, The Village Voice, New York, 2000
« ... A strikingly original dance program... sensational... stunning visuals... The dancers are extraordinary. » - Sharry Underwood, The Burlington Free Press, 1999
